Matcha Frosted Cookies

Matcha Frosted Cookies

Overview

This biscuit most reminds me of Meimei, who was born in her late 70s when she was a child. She spent her childhood in the countryside, where there was a lack of material resources, and snacks were simply a luxury. In Meimei’s memory, the most delicious snack is sugar. Isn’t it unimaginable? The sweet white sugar can also be eaten as a snack! In fact, the average family does not have sugar at home. I have a paralyzed grandma. My mother is very good to her. Although the family is not relaxed, there is always a jar of sugar beside grandma's bed, just in case she is hungry when she has no time to cook during the busy farming season. Following my grandma, my childhood of material poverty was quite sweet! This sweet sugar has become the best memory of my childhood. Later, when I was in junior high school, my grandma passed away, and we all moved to the school where my father worked. We left the remote mountain village. I was dazzled by the various snacks in the school store. This crunchy biscuit with a layer of sugar on the outside eventually became my favorite. I once had a glorious history of eating a box of biscuits in a few days, and what followed was a linear increase in my weight. Meimei is really a naive person. She is a girl in her teens, and everyone knows that she loves beauty, but all I have in mind is delicious food. How shameful! Nowadays, snacks are more and more exquisite, but every time I go to the supermarket, this old-fashioned biscuit still makes me salivate. Food is alive!
