Preserved egg and shredded pork porridge
Overview
Preserved egg and lean meat porridge is a very common porridge in Hainan. It can be seen in morning tea and late night snacks. The porridge is made of preserved eggs and lean meat cut into small pieces. After the pork is seasoned and marinated, it is added to the cooked porridge and cooked together. Add chopped green onion, crackers or fried dough sticks before eating. However, the cooking methods of different restaurants are slightly different. Some use minced pork as raw material, and some use shredded pork as raw material. Although the cooking methods are different, the taste is not much different. The preserved egg and shredded pork porridge made this time uses Shi Yunsheng's original soup, which makes the porridge more fragrant. Because my family likes coriander, this preserved egg and shredded pork porridge does not use chopped green onion, but uses coriander to enhance the flavor, which is very delicious.
