【Tianjin】Sweet and Sour Pork Ribs
Overview
Sweet and Sour Pork Ribs is a popular traditional dish that is representative of the sweet and sour flavor. It uses fresh pork ribs. The meat is tender and red in color. It is very delicious and often appears on the New Year's Eve table. This dish is found in the four cuisines of Shanghai, Zhejiang, Sichuan and Huaiyang, and the methods are different. Today I made a quick version of sweet and sour pork ribs, without pickling or frying. After blanch the ribs, stir-fry, then pour in the prepared all-purpose sweet and sour sauce, fix the color and taste, add water and heat for half an hour, then high heat for ten minutes. Just put a little salt and sesame before serving. It is very simple, but the taste is not inferior at all. I found that there are no fixed rules and routines for cooking. Just follow the way you like.

You must wash the pot immediately, because the soup contains sugar and is very sticky. Once it cools, it dries and hardens on top, making it difficult to clean. You must wash the pot in time, or soak it in water first.
