Cornmeal Cake
Overview
My father-in-law brought fresh corn flour and made corn flour cake for the children. After tasting it, the children commented: It is generally good, but the texture is not as soft and delicate as using flour.

Separate the egg whites from the yolks.

Add egg yolks to corn oil and milk and beat well.

Add cornmeal and mix well.

Add a little salt and white vinegar to the egg whites, add sugar in three batches and beat until dry peaks form.

Pour the egg yolk polenta into one-third of the egg whites and mix well.

Pour in the remaining egg whites and mix well.

Pour the egg batter into the baking pan and sprinkle with melon seeds.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees, upper and lower heat, for 18 minutes. After taking it out of the oven, turn it upside down, let it cool and remove the parchment paper.
