Butter Matcha Breadsticks
Overview
I was lazy and used a bread machine to make large bread with one click, then cut it into strips, brushed it with a layer of butter, and baked it in the oven. It was crunchy and super crispy. The children kept going one after another and couldn't stop at all. This time I made matcha-flavored bread, and the resulting bread sticks have dual flavors, the aroma of butter, the fragrance of matcha, and the sweet and sour blackcurrant raisins, perfect!

Ingredients
Steps
-
Pour the milk, eggs, sugar, and salt into the bread bucket first, then pour in the high-gluten flour, matcha powder, and yeast in sequence, and start the kneading process.
-
After a kneading program is completed, add room temperature softened butter and continue to start a kneading program.
-
Then add raisins and start the third kneading process.
-
After three kneading procedures, the dough is already in the expansion stage.
-
Select the fermentation program and ferment the dough until it doubles in size.
-
Then select the baking program. If you can set the time, set it to 40 minutes. It depends on your bread machine.
-
After baking, cool the bread. Cut into strips of about 1cm.
-
Soften butter at room temperature, add powdered sugar and stir evenly.
-
Then add one egg yolk and beat evenly overtime again.
-
Form into a fine and slightly fluffy buttery egg yolk paste.
-
Take a bread stick and use a brush to brush a layer of buttery egg yolk paste on all sides.
-
Place on a baking sheet lined with greaseproof paper, bake at 190 degrees for 10 minutes.
-
You can take it out and turn it over during this period. Continue baking. If the coloring is severe, cover with tin foil.
