[Chestnut Chicken Porridge] --- A worry-free and nutritious stomach-warming breakfast
Overview
This is today’s Chinese breakfast staple: chestnut and chicken porridge, which is light, delicious, nutritious and healthy. A bowl of it warms the body and stomach. It is paired with Indian pancakes and is very popular among the family. Chestnuts, also known as big chestnuts, chestnuts and hairy chestnuts, are a specialty of my country. Chestnuts can be eaten raw, or made into pastries, dishes, porridge, etc. They are sweet and warm in nature. They are rich in unsaturated fatty acids, vitamins, and minerals. They can prevent and treat hypertension, coronary heart disease, arteriosclerosis, osteoporosis and other diseases. They are a good nutritional supplement for anti-aging and longevity. It is also rich in vitamin C, which can maintain the normal functions of teeth, bones, blood vessels and muscles. Regular consumption can nourish the stomach and spleen, nourish the kidneys and strengthen muscles, activate blood circulation and stop bleeding. Chicken protein has a higher proportion and is easily absorbed and utilized by the body, so combining the two for cooking porridge can better improve the nutritional effect.
