Kidney Bean Braised Pork Ribs
Overview
I haven’t eaten pork ribs for a while. Yesterday, my mother bought kidney beans from the market, so I used the kidney beans to stew the pork ribs. Whether it tastes good or not, just follow me and make it.

Steps
-
Ingredients: Pork ribs, kidney beans, green onions, and ginger.
-
Cut green onions into large sections and slice ginger.
-
Add a little oil to the pot, put the ribs into the pot, and stir-fry over medium heat.
-
When both sides of the ribs are golden brown, add aniseed, peppercorns and dried hawthorn slices and stir-fry.
-
Add the green onions and ginger slices and continue to stir-fry. Add the white wine and light soy sauce and stir-fry evenly.
-
Add 2 cm of boiling water that covers the ribs, bring to a boil over high heat, and simmer over low heat.
-
Now let’s process the kidney beans: clean the kidney beans, remove the heads and tails, pull off the tendons in the middle and break them into segments.
-
When the ribs are simmering for 40 minutes, add the kidney bean segments.
-
Add sugar and salt to taste, reduce the juice over high heat and serve.
