Homemade simple version of apple pie
Overview
There was a time when children liked to eat pineapple pie when they went to McDonald's. I don't know whether it was because of the sweetness that the children liked, or because of the overall taste. Anyway, I just liked it. If you know how to bake by yourself, you won’t want to sell anything your children like to eat outside. They would rather spend time making it at home, which is both healthy and delicious. The most important thing is that you can DIY to adjust the taste or texture at will, making it more suitable for your family. Apple pie is a delicacy that I have been fascinated by for a long time. I have never tried it because I don’t have a pie mold at home, and it is always unsatisfactory when there are missing items. One day I decided to practice with what I have now. If they all like it, it’s not too late to remove the molds, so I made a baking pan version of apple pie

Steps
-
Prepare the required raw materials
-
Beat unsalted butter at room temperature until soft, add powdered sugar in batches and mix well
-
Then add the egg liquid and mix well
-
Sift the salt and low-gluten flour into it, mix it into a dough, wrap the dough in plastic wrap, and place it in the refrigerator to rest for 30 minutes
-
Wash the skin and core of the apples and cut them into small pieces. Put the butter in a pot and heat it over low heat until it melts. Pour in the fine sugar. When it is completely dissolved, add the apple pieces and stir-fry slowly over low heat. When the apples become slightly soft, add cinnamon powder and continue to stir-fry for a few times. Then add lemon juice and continue to stir-fry over low heat. Turn off the heat when the apples are completely soft and let them cool before making the filling

Take out the refrigerated pie crust from the refrigerator, divide it into two, roll one of them into a thickness of 0.5cm, and place it in a baking pan
-
Spread the apple filling evenly onto the pie crust
-
Roll out the other piece of pie dough into a pie crust, and then cut it into strips about 1cm wide with a knife. Place the cut strips on the pie, brush with the remaining egg wash, and let it rest for about 10 minutes
-
Bake in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for about 20 minutes
