Flowers and full moon toast
Overview
Flowers and a full moon are people's way of describing the Mid-Autumn Festival, which means beauty and reunion. On that day, family members working in other places will rush home to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival with us. This toast is made with Xinliang bread flour. The cake inside the toast represents the moon, and there are blooming flowers on the outside of the toast. The flowers are full and the moon is full, and the whole family is reunited!

-
Put the eggs and water into the bread bucket, add sugar and salt diagonally
-
Add milk powder and easy bread flour
-
Add the cocoa powder and add the yeast on top of the flour. Start the bread machine and wait for ten minutes.
-
After the first kneading is completed, let it rest for 8 minutes. Add the butter cut into small pieces and start the dough mixing process again for 18 minutes.
-
After the dough has been kneaded, cover the bread barrel with a damp cloth, then cover the bread machine lid, and ferment at room temperature for 50 minutes.
-
Take out the fermented dough, cover it with plastic wrap and let it rest for ten minutes.
-
Roll the dough into an oval shape, fold it in half, and then roll it out again.
-
If you use a flower-shaped or round mold to cover the cake slices in advance, you can also use 5 or 6-piece cake molds or use a gold plate to make cake slices. Place the shaped cake piece on top of the dough and roll it down.
-
Place in a 450g toast mold.
-
Put the bread dough into the oven, add a bowl of hot water, start the oven to ferment, and ferment for 45 minutes.
-
Ferment until the mold is eighty percent full, mix the low-gluten flour and water in the auxiliary ingredients to form a dough, roll it out flat, use a flower-shaped mold to cover the flower pieces, place them on the bread dough, and close the lid of the toast box.
-
Place in the lower and middle racks of the preheated oven, 180 degrees, for 35 minutes.
-
Take out the finished toast and place it on a rack to cool before slicing.
