Colored toast
Overview
Sometimes, adding a little more ingredients to the ordinary dough can produce different effects. This time I used matcha powder, cocoa powder and purple sweet potato powder together, and the effect was not bad~~ Ingredients: 270g high-gluten flour, 90g milk, 70g light cream, 45g egg liquid, 20g butter, 50g fine sugar, 2g salt, 3g yeast, 1 tsp cocoa powder, 1 tsp matcha powder, 1 tsp purple sweet potato starch

Steps
-
Pour all the ingredients except butter and sesame seeds into the bread bucket, then put the bucket into the bread machine and secure it, start the dough program, and set it for 30 minutes
-
After the program ends, add butter softened at room temperature and start the "dough" program, which includes two stages of kneading + fermentation
-
When the kneading process is finished, press the pause button to temporarily stop the process
-
Take out the dough and divide it into 4 portions
-
Take a portion of the dough and add 1 tsp of cocoa powder
-
Knead evenly (you can add a little water in an appropriate amount)
-
Follow the same method, take a portion of dough, add 1 teaspoon of matcha powder, and knead evenly to form matcha dough
-
Follow the same method, take a portion of dough, add 1 teaspoon of purple sweet potato flour, and knead evenly to form purple sweet potato dough
-
Put the above three kinds of dough and the original white dough into the bread barrel, separate them with oil paper in the middle, press the pause button again to continue the program and enter the fermentation stage
-
Wait for the program to end and fermentation to be completed
-
Take out the four colored doughs and knead them separately to deflate them
-
Then roll them into round balls and let them rest for 15 minutes
-
Take plain white dough as an example: roll it into an oval shape
-
Then turn it over and thin the long bottom edge
-
Roll up from top to bottom and pinch to seal
-
Treat the other three-color dough in the same way as the white dough
-
Then slowly knead the four-color dough into long pieces
-
Knead one end of the four-color dough together
-
Then start braiding the hair according to the four-strand braiding method
-
After braiding, knead the dough at the closing edge
-
Then pinch the two ends of the braid together and place the joint facing down
-
Put the dough into the toast mold and place it in a warm and moist place for final fermentation
-
Let the dough ferment until the toast box is 8~9 full
-
Place in the lower shelf of the preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 35 minutes
-
Let cool before slicing and serving
