Steamed stuffed buns with pumpkin filling
Overview
I like to eat pasta, especially steamed buns. It’s easy to make and can be cooked by one person. It’s not bad to try it.

Steps
-
Wash the pork and chop into mince (you can also use a stuffing machine). Wash and chop the onions.
-
Choose a tender melon. If the melon is old, you need to peel it. After washing, cut it in the middle and remove the contents with a small spoon. Use a cutting board to cut the melon into shreds, then put it in a container, add a small amount of salt and knead it (so that the water in the melon will flow out quickly). After two minutes, pour clean water into the container, take out the shredded melon and squeeze out the water.
-
In the container, put the meat, chopped green onion, shredded melon, monosodium glutamate, thirteen spices, sesame oil, and corn oil in sequence. When you removed the water from the shredded melon, you have already kneaded it with salt. Do not add any more salt when adding seasonings. If you feel that the stuffing is a little dry, you can also add some water.
-
Mix the flour and yeast according to the proportion and put them into a container, then mix the dough with warm water, and cover the mixed dough with plastic wrap.
-
Knead the dough again and again, and make a dough for later use.
-
Roll into skin and make buns.
-
Bring the buns to a boil over high heat and then steam for 12 minutes (high heat for the first eight minutes, then turn to medium heat for the last four minutes). When the buns are cooked, turn off the heat. Do not open the lid immediately. Wait half a minute before opening and placing on a plate.

It tastes pretty good.
