Sweet and sour appetizers
Overview
As someone who doesn't like meat dishes, I have a special liking for pickled side dishes. I can't live without them almost every day. I eat a steamed bun or a bowl of porridge with them, which is my delicious breakfast.

Wash the cabbage and cut into large pieces

Chili peppers cut into sections

Take another container of cold water. After the water boils, turn off the heat, add cabbage, peppers, and carrots and blanch them for a while. Remove them from the water and let them cool

Make water in a pot, add a handful of peppercorns, bring to a boil and let cool slightly

Then add ginger slices

Add 2 tablespoons of salt, 3 tablespoons of sugar, and a little white wine and bring to a boil again, then turn off the heat and let cool

Put the blanched vegetables into a clean container

Pour in the cooled pepper water, cover and seal and leave for about 2 days before eating
