Yuanbao Wonton
Overview
Yuanbao wonton is called according to the shape of the package. Wontons, Chaoshou, wontons, etc. are all traditional snacks, and they are called differently in each place. The making methods are similar. You can adjust the fillings according to your preference, but mostly meat fillings. There are many shapes of wontons. Today’s ones are Yuanbao wontons stuffed with pork and cabbage.

Add appropriate amount of water to the flour and knead into a smooth hard dough, cover with plastic wrap and let rise for 30 minutes.

Roll out the risen dough into dough and cut into cubes.

Chop the cabbage, squeeze out the water, and add it to the seasoned meat filling.

Stir it evenly, add sesame oil and mix well.

Take a piece of dough and put an appropriate amount of meat filling in the middle. Fold the bottom up and place it in the middle of the meat filling.

Fold it upward again, leaving a quarter of the dough on top. Pinch both sides tightly.

Stand it up, push the two ends into the middle, and pinch them together to form the green shape of "Yuanbao Wonton". Finish in turn.

Boil fresh soup in a pot and add Yuanbao wontons. After boiling, cook for about 2 minutes until the wontons float.

Sprinkle some chopped green onion, take out of the pan, put into a bowl, and serve.
