A touch of freshness in spring - matcha flavored nougat
Overview
I’ve made so much nougat that I haven’t posted the recipe since I thought the steps were simple. I bought a matcha powder with a beautiful color today, and the nougat it made was so tempting that I couldn’t help but serve it.

Steps
-
Weigh the milk powder and matcha powder.
-
Sieve. I mixed it directly.
-
Prepare marshmallows.
-
Peanut kernels are crushed in various ways.
-
Heat a pan, add butter and melt over low heat.
-
Pour in the marshmallows and stir-fry over low heat until the marshmallows melt and there are no big particles.
-
Add milk powder and matcha powder. Continue stirring.
-
Turn off the heat. After the marshmallows and milk powder are completely blended, add the peanuts and press and mix with a spatula to coat the peanuts with the marshmallows.
-
Transfer the sugar to oiled paper, roll it out flat with a rolling pin, and arrange it into a rectangular shape. About 20*25 cm.
-
Let cool slightly and cut into pieces while the sugar is still soft.
-
Wrap it in glutinous rice paper and sugar paper, and the beautiful nougat is ready.
