Three-meter longan porridge
Overview
Black rice, glutinous rice and barley can strengthen the spleen and appetite, and replenish qi and blood. Paired with longan and red dates, which also nourish qi and blood, the effect is doubled. It can provide energy for people who have lost their appetite due to hot weather.

50g black rice, 50g glutinous rice, 30g barley, 20g longan, 10g red dates, appropriate amount of brown sugar

Wash black rice, glutinous rice, and barley and soak them separately for 2 hours.

Wash the red dates and longan, and set aside the brown sugar.

Add black rice, glutinous rice, barley and appropriate amount of water. Bring to a boil and cook into porridge.

When the porridge is 80% cooked, add red dates and longan. Bring to a simmer over low heat.
