Fried beans with shrimp paste
Overview
Home-style fried beans, stir-fry with some seasonings, make them more salty and fragrant, and go well with rice. The shrimp paste I put in today can be used without oyster sauce, but if you don’t have it, just don’t put it in. It's just to add a little more flavor and make it a little richer.

Ingredients
Steps
-
Wash the beans and cut them into sections about one inch long.
-
Chop ginger and garlic, and cut millet and pepper into rings.
-
Pour about 30-40ml of oil into the pot, heat it up, add ginger, garlic and chili and stir-fry until the garlic smells fragrant. Because the shrimp paste I use is very oily, I put a little less oil in front.
-
Add the beans and continue to stir-fry until the beans change color.
-
Add 2 tablespoons of shrimp paste, stir-fry and mix well. If you don’t have shrimp paste, you can use oyster sauce or other sauces. If you don’t have them, leave them out. Add a little more flavor and freshness.
-
Add 1 teaspoon of salt, 1 tablespoon of light soy sauce, and half a bowl of water, stir-fry and mix well, cover and simmer for two to three minutes.
-
Just open the lid to collect some soup.
