Teriyaki Braised Egg
Overview
A braised egg dish made with Japanese seasonings, including mirin, sake, soy sauce and ginger and garlic. These are actually the main ingredients of Japanese teriyaki sauce. Using these ingredients to make braised eggs has a unique flavor and is very similar to teriyaki sauce. Originally, it would be better to boil the soft-boiled eggs, but since the bird flu is so severe right now, I'd better just boil them and eat them. But don't overcook it, as cooking it until the surface of the egg yolk changes color will destroy the nutrients.
