Barley garlic pork belly soup
Overview
Nourishing the stomach should focus on warming the stomach and dispersing cold, and drinking soup is undoubtedly a more healthy eating habit. I remember that my mother used to make soup with garlic, barley and pork belly. Garlic is hot in nature, while barley strengthens the spleen and removes dampness, replenishes qi and blood, and facilitates gastrointestinal absorption. The main function of stewing the three together is to warm the stomach, dispel cold, and replenish the spleen and stomach. It has good health care effects on patients with spleen and stomach deficiency, cold pain in the epigastrium, and lukewarm limbs.
