Sweet potato glutinous rice cake
Overview
Sometimes I really want to eat glutinous rice. My son asked me to make glutinous rice-related things a few times for him to eat, such as donkey rolling, glutinous rice cakes, pumpkin cakes, and sweet potato cakes. He said that he likes to eat anything soft and glutinous like this. It happened that there were still a few pieces of sweet potato from the steamed sweet potatoes the day before, so I made sweet potato glutinous rice pancakes to eat. I also like sweet and glutinous ones. I fried a total of 15 sweet potato glutinous rice pancakes and my son ate 10 of them. He is really a foodie.

Steps
-
Prepare the ingredients and steam the sweet potatoes.
-
Use Tianxi rose paper towels to dry the water droplets in the container. It will not drop residue and will not break when exposed to water.
-
Peel the sweet potatoes and place in a container.
-
Add 30 grams of white sugar (the sugar is not fixed, add it according to your preference).
-
Mash the sweet potatoes and mix together with the sugar.
-
Add 110 grams of glutinous rice flour (add glutinous rice flour according to the dryness and wetness of the sweet potatoes).
-
Knead into a dough of moderate hardness and softness that feels like your own earlobes. Cover with plastic wrap and let rest for 30 minutes.
-
Grease the baking sheet with a little oil using Tianxi rose paper towels and set aside.
-
Divide the sweet potato glutinous rice flour dough into roughly sized pieces, roll them into rounds and flatten them, and place them in a baking pan. A total of 15 sweet potato glutinous rice pancakes have been made.
-
Dip your fingers in water and apply black sesame seeds on the glutinous rice cake.
-
Turn on a non-stick pan over low heat and wipe the bottom of the pan with a Tianxi rose paper towel dipped in oil.
-
Put the glutinous rice cakes into the pot and fry over low heat, then use a rose paper towel dipped in oil to wipe the surface of the glutinous rice cakes (you don’t need to use a brush to brush the oil, the less oily version of the glutinous rice cakes will be less burdensome to eat)!
-
Fry one side until lightly browned, then flip over and continue frying over low heat until fully cooked.
-
Use Tianxi rose paper towels to absorb excess oil from the fried glutinous rice cakes, then place on a plate and enjoy.
