Overview

I actually hate fried food, but because I am greedy, I still make it once or twice a year. Last year I fried fried dough sticks, and this year I saw lotus root box on the food network, and I just had some beer left, so I made it this year.

  1. Ingredients: half a catty of pork (half fat and lean), two sections of lotus root

  2. Clean the meat and chop it into minced meat. Chop a small onion and a green onion. Add them together and marinate with salt, wine and soy sauce for a while.

  3. Peel the lotus root and slice it (cannot cut between the two pieces, just like a box), then slowly put the meat into the lotus root box with chopsticks.

  4. Use a bowl to put some flour and glutinous rice flour (a little is enough), and pour in a little beer and water to make a slurry (not too thin)

  5. Then heat up a pan of oil (the oil temperature should be very high), then put the lotus root box with meat into the prepared batter and hang a layer of batter.

  6. Then put them one by one into the oil pan and fry.

  7. Add it slowly. When you see two sides that are brown, push it to the edge of the pot and drain the oil.

  8. Drain the oil and pick it up
