Home version of claypot rice
Overview
The Dragon Boat Festival is a long holiday. I went out to play after lunch. There were some ingredients left at home, so I just made a pot of rice. This not only used the ingredients in the refrigerator, but also left no leftovers to clean up. If you are a virtuous person like me😜, just make a pot of claypot rice😁

Wash the rice two hours in advance and soak it for later use

Wash the sausage and set aside, wash and cook the ham and set aside

Slice sausage and ham and set aside. Wash and cut ginger into thin strips and set aside

Take a bowl to make the sauce, add oyster sauce, light soy sauce, cooking wine, shredded ginger, add a spoonful of olive oil, then add twice as much cold boiled water, mix thoroughly and set aside. It should be about half the size of a rice bowl

Add base oil to a non-stick pan, then add soaked rice and spread it out. Then add water. The amount of water should be about 0.5-1CM higher than the rice (the water must not be too much. It depends on the water absorption of the rice. It is at least 0.5CM and cannot exceed 1CM at most). Bring it to a boil over high heat for five minutes, then turn to medium to low heat and simmer for about 20 minutes. You should always observe the changes in moisture. As long as the water is slightly dry, the rice will be full of rice grains without water

Spread the chopped sausage and ham evenly on the rice, sprinkle some shredded ginger, cover and continue to simmer over low heat for about five minutes

Add the cooked peas and simmer for a minute

Add the cooked cabbage and simmer for one minute

Turn off the heat and simmer for three minutes, open the lid and pour the sauce evenly, cover and simmer for one minute

Open the lid when you serve it, wow the whole house is filled with fragrance 😋
