Beat the roadside stall: spicy cumin tofu
Overview
Street food is at home, and I want to eat the spicy cumin tofu on the roadside. I had no choice but to do it myself at home.

Ingredients
Steps
-
Prepare the sauce: Put the chili powder, cumin powder, salt, and black sesame seeds into a bowl, and use hot oil to stir up the aroma (I didn't have white sesame seeds, so I had to use black sesame seeds). Then, pour in the light soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, sesame oil and sugar, and stir evenly.
-
Slice old tofu.
-
Dip sliced tofu into starch.
-
Then dip in egg wash.
-
Fry the tofu slices in a hot pan with cold oil.
-
Fry until golden brown on both sides and remove.
-
Pour the fried tofu into a bowl and add the sauce so that every piece of tofu is coated with the sauce.
-
After serving, sprinkle with chopped green onions and enjoy.
