Sesame and Walnut Soft European Buns
Overview
Compared with the oil-free and sugar-free hard bread, which has a rough texture, I prefer soft bread. Although sugar and oil are added, the portion is very small (5 grams of olive oil) but the taste is very soft and fragrant. It is a real low-fat health food that has been popular for more than a year, but there are still so many people who like it...

Steps
-
Put all the ingredients except olive oil into the bread machine and start the bread kneading program for 15 minutes
-
After kneading, take out the dough and put it into another container, add 5 grams of olive oil and knead until it reaches the expansion stage (my bread machine broke down halfway, so I had to take it out and knead it by hand)
-
Cover the dough with plastic wrap and let it rise until doubled in size
-
After fermentation, deflate the dough, divide it into 3 equal parts, cover with plastic wrap and rest for 15 minutes
-
Chop the cooked walnuts and prepare the sesame filling (add more or less filling as you like. I bought the sesame filling in bags)
-
Roll one of the dough into a rectangle, put sesame filling and walnut kernels in the middle
-
Tighten the edge and shape it into an oval. Wrap the remaining 2 pieces of dough in turn, neatly shape them, and place them into a baking pan lined with oil paper
-
Put it in the oven for the second warm and moist fermentation. When it has fermented until it has doubled in size, take it out, sprinkle with an appropriate amount of flour, and make a few slits with a razor blade
-
Place in the middle rack of the preheated oven and bake at 165 degrees for 30 minutes (please follow your own oven temperature and time settings)
