Teriyaki Glutinous Rice Squid Tube
Overview
The most common way to cook squid is stir-frying. Today, we’ll make it a different way. Stuff the squid with seasoned glutinous rice, brush the surface with teriyaki sauce, and bake it in the oven for 25 minutes. Once cooked, cut into pieces and serve.

First prepare a bowl of glutinous rice.

Clean the squid and remove the internal organs and black membrane on the surface.

Dice onions, carrots, celery, and yellow pepper.

Cut the ham into small cubes and mince the ginger and green onions.

Put oil in the pot, add the onion and ginger and stir-fry.

Add onions and fry until fragrant.

Add carrots and stir-fry.

When the carrots are slightly soft, add diced yellow pepper and celery.

Finally add glutinous rice and diced ham, stir evenly.

Seasoned rice is fried.

Prepare another teriyaki sauce: appropriate amount of light soy sauce, oyster sauce, and honey, mix evenly.

Stuff the rice into the squid and secure with toothpicks to seal.

Brush a layer of teriyaki sauce on top.

Place in the middle rack of the oven at 200 degrees for 25 minutes.

Flip in the middle and brush with teriyaki sauce.

Cut and plate.
