Overview

This is my first time making it, and I haven’t tried it before, so I can’t refer to the taste of others. This soup is slightly sweet with the aroma of salted egg yolk and a hint of peanut butter and coconut milk. The taste can be adjusted according to your preference.

  2. First blanch the bamboo bird's nest in water. The length of time depends on whether the bamboo bird's nest still has astringent taste. After blanching to remove the astringent taste, add chicken broth and steam it for about 50 minutes to allow the bamboo bird's nest to absorb the flavor. After steaming, add a little salt to taste.

  3. Put the pumpkin and raw salted egg yolk into the pot and steam for 15 minutes. After steaming, crush them into puree and set aside.

  4. Add a little oil to the pot and fry the salted egg yolk until fragrant.

  5. After frying the salted egg yolk until fragrant, add a bowl of chicken broth, water, pumpkin puree and a few rock sugars.

  7. After boiling, add salt, a little peanut butter and 2 to 3 tablespoons of coconut milk.
