Salted Fish Roast Pork
Overview
A few days ago, a friend sent me a big salted fish and said it was very delicious when grilled with meat. I have never eaten salted fish and roasted pork, let alone cooked it. When my friend sent it to me, she insisted that I cook it before telling her how to make it. Well, there is always a first time for everything anyway, so I immediately cut a piece of salted fish and prepared it. I thought that generally pickled products are very salty ingredients, so I soaked the salted fish the night before and started cooking it the next day. There happened to be a piece of pork belly in the refrigerator, so I made this dish according to the method of braised pork. After cooking, I thought there would be a fishy smell, but not only did it not smell, but it became very delicious. When you eat it in your mouth, the fish has the aroma of meat, and the meat has the umami taste of fish. The combination of these two ingredients is really perfect.
