Lotus seed turtle jelly
Overview
When I was a child, I would go out with my father on the streets and there would always be a bowl of Guiling paste. As long as I had one bowl, the rest would not matter. Sometimes my father would buy the powder and make it at home. Now, I am too far away from home, so I always buy a pack and bring it back every time I go home. Although they are also sold online, I always feel that the ones brought out from my mother's house are always different, haha. However, there were no lotus seeds in the Guiling that I ate when I was a kid. It was only after looking at the tip of my tongue that I decided to add lotus seeds. Lotus seeds also have the effect of clearing away heat and calming the nerves. If eaten together with Guiling paste, it has a unique flavor!

Prepare ingredients.

Take 250ML of water and mix the Guiling Gao powder until no grains appear.

Add 1.1 liters of water to the pot and bring to a boil.

After boiling, turn to low heat, pour in the Guiling paste from step 2, stir while pouring until small bubbles appear and are slightly open.

Pour into a container and let cool to remove surface foam.

Wash the lotus seeds.
