Overview
Carrots are neutral in nature and enter the lungs and spleen meridian. They have the functions of strengthening the stomach and digestion, moisturizing the intestines and defecating, moving qi and resolving stagnation, and improving eyesight. It is mainly used to treat loss of appetite, abdominal distension and diarrhea, cough and wheezing with excessive phlegm, and unclear vision. Wash the carrots, peel and drain.

Slice the carrots into evenly thin slices.

Place the carrot slices in a cooking pot, add water and rock sugar. After the fire comes to a boil, turn to low heat and simmer for about 15 minutes.

Absorb enough of the sugar powder water into the carrot slices, remove the water and spread evenly on the baking sheet. Place in the middle rack of the preheated oven and bake at 140 degrees for about 90 minutes. Flip halfway through.
