Ingredients
Steps
-
Heat butter over water and melt
-
Pour the egg yolks, vegetable oil, and white sugar into a container and mix well with a whisk. Cut the red dates into small pieces and set aside for later use (I did not take pictures of this step)
-
Whisk until the egg yolk becomes lighter in color, add milk and continue whisking
-
Pour flour, cornstarch, and matcha powder together and sift together
-
After sifting, mix well with a spatula and knead into a dough, then add the chopped red dates and knead well. Make the dough into the shape you want. I made a cylinder and a rectangular parallelepiped and placed it in the refrigerator for 20 minutes to facilitate slicing
-
Slicing is a laborious task, and the dough will break easily if you exert too much force, so you should handle it carefully
-
It was not easy to cut these two pieces of dough, and they still broke a little bit😄
-
Preheat to 160 degrees for 5 minutes, place the middle shelf and bake for 20 minutes
-
Basically, the aroma started to waft out after 5 minutes. The matcha was wrapped in milky aroma. When it was almost out of the oven, I raised the temperature by 5 degrees. As a result, the edges of the finished product were a little burnt. Fortunately, it did not affect the taste. It was fragrant and crispy without any additions. You have to try it to know such a good taste! Come on, my dears😊
