I don’t put too much meat into the beef slices. You can add more beef according to your personal taste. Add cold water and raw beef to the pot and boil to remove the foam. This will make the cooked beef better in texture and taste

Put the meat, onion, ginger and aniseed into warm or boiling water to make soup. This step should be done in a casserole. I didn’t have one when I made it, so I used an ordinary pot instead. Although the soup is also delicious, it feels like something is missing if I don’t use a casserole, so it’s best to use a casserole

When making the soup, add enough water at once, do not add it in batches. When the meat is half cooked, add the white radish, tomatoes, and shiitake mushrooms. Add the ingredients, white sugar, black pepper (if you are not used to spiciness, you can omit or add less), etc. Add less white sugar, salt, and salt each time. Add beef powder and five-spice powder as you taste. I added more sugar at the end to suppress the sugar flavor, so I added it, but if I add it, the soup may be more delicious. It all depends on personal taste
