Pumpkin Sticky Rice
Overview
Pumpkin glutinous rice has a lovely appearance and a soft, glutinous texture. The steamed rice carries the fragrance of pumpkin. It's fun to eat it inside and out.

Wash the glutinous rice and soak it overnight in advance.

Cover the pot with a cage cloth, spread the glutinous rice flat and steam it.

While the glutinous rice is steaming, process the pumpkin. Cut off the top and hollow out the inside of the pumpkin with a spoon.

Prepare edamame, corn kernels, a small piece of carrot, and a piece of pork sausage.

Cut the carrots and pork sausage into small cubes.

Add the diced pork intestines, diced carrots, corn kernels and edamame to the steamed glutinous rice while it's hot, pour in a little sesame oil and mix well.

Stuff the mixed rice into the pumpkin.

Set the lid aside and steam the pumpkin together with it. About 40 minutes or so.
