First wash the winter melon, carrots and green onions, prepare raw corn and clean ribs

Place the ribs in a pot under cold water. When the water boils, skim off the foam and remove.

Cut corn into sections, peel and slice winter melon, slice carrots, peel and slice ginger, and chop green onions

Add an appropriate amount of water to the pot, bring to a boil, add the ribs and corn, add peppercorns, aniseed, ginger slices, and pour in an appropriate amount of cooking wine

Simmer for an hour.
