Beef and green onion pie

My family loves pie, and this year happens to be the Year of the Ox. Let’s have a pot of beef pie and start the new year with a bang.

Prepare the flour, divide it into two halves by dividing it with a line in the middle, pour boiling water into half of it, and stir it into a flocculent shape with chopsticks.

Add cold water to the other half and use chopsticks to stir into a fluffy consistency.

Knead it into a three-gloss dough with your hands, cover it and let it rest for a while.

Chop the green onions and mix with the stirred beef filling. Add some water to the meat filling in advance and stir well.

Add the various seasonings mentioned above.

Mix well.

Take out the dough, knead it evenly, divide it into small pieces, round and flatten it, and roll it into a skin shape.

Put the filling into the wrapper and knead it in circles like making a bun.

Wrap everything into buns and put them aside.

Heat oil in a pan, press the buns into the pan with the seams facing down, and flatten them into a cake shape.

Once one side is cooked, flip over and continue cooking, drizzling some oil along the edge of the pan. The heat is very important. Each side should be turned to high heat first and then reduced to low heat.

Once both sides are cooked, take it out of the pan and put it on a plate.
