Chilled bayberry juice
Overview
It’s hot, do you still want to cook? Let's have a glass of iced bayberry juice. It is sugar water boiled with fresh bayberry and rock sugar. To put it bluntly, it is a kind of sour plum soup. Fresh bayberries are rich in nutrients, appetizing and invigorating the spleen. The sour plum soup made with fresh bayberries has a different flavor than the sour plum soup made from dried black plums. Especially the bright colors, chilled with ice cubes, are pleasing to the eye and cool from the inside out. The main ingredients are all prepared by myself, which is similar to the sour plum soup I often make. The secret to beautiful color is actually very simple: freshly squeezed lemon juice.
