Cut the tofu into 2cm cubes and soak in salt water for ten minutes.

Chop the pork into mince.

Heat the pot, add minced meat, then add garlic slices and chilies. Stir-fry for a few times. Add a spoonful of soybean paste and a spoonful of Pixian bean paste. Stir-fry until dispersed. Add an appropriate amount of water (chicken broth or bone broth is better). After the water is boiled, add tofu and simmer for ten minutes. Then add salt, chicken essence, chili powder, water starch, and sprinkle with chopped green onion and coriander before serving.
