Stewed Pork Ribs with Lotus Root
Overview
We usually stew lotus root and pork ribs in soup. This time we have a different flavor. The red soup method is very good with rice. The soup is also used for soaking rice or stewing noodles. It is really great.

Prepare ingredients.

Wash the spareribs with clean water two or three times, add appropriate amount of rice wine, mix well and marinate for 15 minutes.

Cut the lotus root into cubes, and chop the onion and ginger.

Prepare soy sauce and 1 small piece of rock sugar.

Pour oil into a casserole, heat over low heat, and sauté ginger slices and onions.

Add pork ribs and stir-fry until color changes.

Add lotus root cubes.

Add soy sauce and rock sugar. Appropriate amount of warm water. If you like it a little spicy, you can add a little dried chili pepper.

Cover and bring to a boil over high heat, then turn to low heat and simmer for 30 to 40 minutes until the lotus root pieces are soft and tender.
