Shaomai
Overview
The shaomai outside looks like a flower, with its unique wrinkled shaomai skin. I have seen a special tool for rolling out siomai skin in restaurants before. Here we call it a siu mai pounding hammer. Some people also use rolling pins to roll out flowers. Let's try a little bit differently today, how about using a little trick to turn the dumpling wrappers into shumai wrappers? Haha, this time I can make Shaomai easily at home.
