Steamed prawns with garlic vermicelli
Overview
Sharing a dish of steamed prawns with garlic vermicelli, it is my children’s favorite home-cooked dish. It has a crisp and tender texture, rich garlic aroma, and extremely delicious taste. It not only supplements brain nutrition and calcium, but also promotes physical development.

I bought the famous live frozen prawns from Huhai online. They are fresh and made with natural ingredients. I opened the box immediately when I got home. The prawns were very big and even in size with very little ice. I steamed a large plate for dinner. They were so delicious that I really satiated my appetite and I couldn’t get enough of them.
-
Clean the prawns, pick out the shrimp line from the second section of the tail, peel and wash the garlic.
-
The vermicelli can be soaked in warm water in advance until soft. I decided to make this dish on the spur of the moment, so I blanch it in a pot and then pour it in cold water.
-
Remove the heads of the prawns, leaving the tails, peel the middle, clean them and set aside. After this shrimp is steamed, the shrimp skin will be crispy, tender and fragrant. I regret it. You can leave it without peeling it. It is better to eat it with the skin on to supplement calcium.
-
Pick up the processed vermicelli, control the water, and put it into the prepared slightly deeper plate.
-
Arrange the prepared prawns on top of the vermicelli.
-
Chop the garlic and ginger into minced garlic and ginger. If you like spicy taste, you can add some spicy millet. Northerners can't eat spicy food, so I didn't add it. Take a small bowl, add 1 spoon of cooking wine, 2 spoons of soy sauce, 1 spoon of oyster sauce, and a little sugar to make a sauce. If you have a heavy taste, you can add a little salt. I didn't add it just right.
-
Add an appropriate amount of olive blended oil to the wok, sauté the ginger and minced garlic, then add the prepared sauce and stir-fry evenly. Leave half of the minced garlic in and add it before taking it out of the pan to make the garlic more fragrant.
-
Pour the stir-fried sauce evenly on the prawns, then put them into the boiling water pot on the curtain, cover and steam for about 8 minutes.
-
You can sprinkle some chopped green onion, or spicy millet, or cilantro after serving.
