[Secret Grapefruit Peel]---Private delicacy without semicolon
Overview
What I made today is a secret grapefruit peel. It tastes absolutely good, has no astringency, and is very fragrant, with a faint lemon aroma. It is not only a snack, but also has a very good therapeutic effect. When I was young, every household would plant more or less fruit trees, such as dates, pears, oranges, persimmons, chestnuts, etc. These are the most common and best grown. But not every family can grow grapefruit with sweet pulp. Even so, people will not waste those grapefruits that are not sweet, that is, use grapefruit peels to make a particularly delicious snack. When you have nothing to do, you can put a few handfuls in your pocket. When walking around the village and watching TV, the family would sit together and bring a plate and everyone would eat together. Or when a child from the village came to the house, he or she would fill his or her pockets without hesitation...

Ingredients
Steps
-
Prepare a grapefruit peel and clean it before peeling.
-
Cut into small pieces first, then into strips. (Don’t be too thick or too thin, a thickness of 2 to 3 mm is better)
-
Soak the cut grapefruit peel in boiling water first, and then soak it in clean water for a day, night or two. This is to remove the astringency inside. (Remember to change the water during this period, otherwise it will soak and rot)
-
Wash the soaked grapefruit peel and squeeze out the water. (Just squeeze it dry normally, don’t squeeze it wet, but don’t squeeze it until there is no moisture at all)
-
Add 2 tablespoons of June bean paste, 1.5 tablespoons of sugar, and 1 tablespoon of cooking oil into the grapefruit peel.
-
Cut the ginger, garlic cloves and red pepper into minced pieces respectively.
-
Add to the grapefruit peel together.
-
Use chopsticks to stir evenly.
-
Add 2 tablespoons of glutinous rice flour.
-
Mix again.
-
Add an appropriate amount of water to the pot, lay a drawer cloth on the steaming rack, pour the seasoned grapefruit peel on it, and spread it evenly.
-
Steam over high heat until cooked. (Steaming is enough, don’t steam it too much, otherwise it will lose its shape. Generally, it takes 3 to 5 minutes after the water boils, but it depends on the amount)
-
Take out the steamed grapefruit peel and pour it into a bamboo basket specially designed for drying vegetables. Use chopsticks to peel it apart and dry it in the sun. But don’t dry it so much that you can’t bite it. You can try it yourself every day. (Every time after steaming, I will put a plate to cook first. It’s delicious)
