Sesame Brown Sugar Rolls
Overview
Sesame sauce is my favorite. It’s super delicious when used to spread bread, make glutinous rice balls, and mix with noodles. This time I used it to make snacks, using the method of making steamed buns, adding brown sugar and sesame paste, rolling out a new flavor and making it delicious.

Steps
-
Prepare plain flour, yeast, water, salt, sesame paste, and brown sugar.
-
Put the flour, water, yeast, and salt into the mixing bowl of the chef's machine, turn on the low-speed mixing function, and mix until the dough is smooth.
-
The mixed dough is placed in a moist and warm place to ferment for about an hour.
-
The dough will rise to double in size after an hour. Fermentation is complete.
-
After taking out the dough, deflate it and roll it into a thin rectangular shape.
-
To prepare brown sugar sesame paste, crush two tablespoons of brown sugar and add three tablespoons of sesame paste and stir evenly without any particles. The sesame sauce I bought is moderately thick. If your sesame sauce is thicker and dry, add an appropriate amount of sesame oil to thin it out.
-
Spread the prepared brown sugar sesame paste on the dough, leaving space on all sides, then roll it into a long strip, and then roll the strip into a roll. The roll should be tight when rolling, otherwise it will fall apart when cutting.
-
As shown in the picture, roll it into a large dough roll, dip some water at the closing position and glue it tightly.
-
Cut the roll into three sections crosswise.
-
Pour cold water into the steamer and place the rolls on the steamer to rest for 30 minutes. After waking up, steam over high heat for 30 minutes. Don't rush to remove the lid after steaming. Let the rolls simmer in the pot for 3 minutes.

The hot sesame brown sugar rolls are ready.
