Tomato Beef Brisket
Overview
In the cold winter, I just want to eat something hot. Tomato beef brisket, with a unique salty aroma, and a spoonful of soup mixed with rice. It’s so delicious 😁

Ingredients
Steps
-
Cut the tomatoes into small pieces (choose those with sandy spots on the surface for better taste)
-
Prepare ingredients
-
Wash the spices (to remove the meat smell)
-
Cut the beef brisket into pieces about 1X2cm
-
Boil water in a pot, add scallion slices, ginger slices, and a small spoonful of white wine after adding the beef brisket. Boil for 2 minutes, then remove and rinse away any foam. Drain the water and set aside
-
Heat oil in a pan, add rock sugar and melt over low heat. Add beef brisket and stir-fry over medium-low heat until browned. Add spices and minced garlic and stir-fry until fragrant
-
After the aroma comes out, add tomatoes and stir-fry
-
After the tomatoes are out of water, add salt, soy sauce, ginger slices, millet pepper and stir-fry
-
After adding salt, the tomatoes turn into juice, so there is no need to add water at all. Simmer slowly over low heat, or use an electric pressure cooker, rice cooker, etc. to simmer faster
-
Sprinkle with cilantro and chives before serving. You can also blanch some vegetarian vegetables as a base, or add a little more water to make a tomato and beef brisket hotpot
