Beer Duck
Overview
Beer duck is a special dish with a unique flavor. The duck meat is stewed with beer to make the nourishing duck meat more intense. The duck meat is not only delicious in the mouth, but also has a refreshing fragrance of beer.

Prepare the ingredients

Clean the duck and chop into small pieces

Pour cold water into a pot (add a little white wine to the water to remove the fishy smell) and blanch for 3 minutes

Stir-fry the duck meat and rinse it with cold water to remove any foam

Heat oil in a pan

Turn on low heat, add rock sugar, and cook till the color turns

When the sugar turns slightly yellow

Add the bean paste and chicken sauce and stir-fry out the red oil

Add the duck and stir-fry evenly. After coloring, add dried chili pepper, ginger, cinnamon, star anise and bay leaves and stir-fry evenly

Pour in a can of beer and bring to a boil

Turn to low heat, cover the pot, and simmer for 50 minutes (my duck is relatively old, so the simmering time should be adjusted appropriately according to the age of the duck).

Add garlic and turn to high heat to reduce the soup. Turn to low heat

Add a little salt (due to the addition of bean paste and chicken pot sauce, add less or no salt, depending on your own taste), chicken essence, oyster sauce, and pepper to taste

Add garlic sprouts
