Put the fish into room temperature water, add 1/2 tablespoon of salt, stir briefly, and soak for 30 minutes.

In a small pot, add 3 garlic cloves, 1 red pepper, 2 tablespoons of Thai chicken juice, 1 tablespoon of tomato juice, 1 tablespoon of white vinegar, 1+1/2 tablespoons of sugar, 1/4 teaspoon of refined salt, 1/2 tablespoon of cornstarch, 1/3 teaspoon of pepper, 1/2 tablespoon of sesame oil, and 1/3 cup of water. Turn up the heat and stir while heating until it bubbles.
