Tangerine peel and hawthorn tea
In autumn and winter, oranges are on the market in large quantities again. It is sweet and sour, cheap and easy to preserve. It has become the fruit that many people eat the most in winter and is also the main source of vitamin C. So do people only eat the flesh of oranges and throw away the skin? Or just use orange peels to make tea? In fact, doing so is a waste. Today I will tell you how to turn worthless orange peels into tangerine peels that become more valuable as they get older, and how to make tangerine peel and hawthorn tea. Tangerine peel, a traditional Chinese medicine, is the dry and ripe orange peel, which has the effects of regulating qi and strengthening the spleen, drying dampness and reducing phlegm. The tangerine peel produced in Xinhui, Guangdong is called Xinhui peel (derived from the Chinese Medical Information Query Platform). As the saying goes, a hundred-year-old tangerine peel and a thousand-year-old ginseng, one tael of tangerine peel and one tael of gold can be compared with ginseng and gold, which shows the value of tangerine peel. The price of tangerine peel is very high in the market. Ordinary Xinhui tangerine peel can be sold for hundreds of yuan per catty, and the most expensive ones can even be sold for thousands of yuan. The combination of tangerine peel and hawthorn is a relatively common health-preserving tea. "Danxi Heart Method" mentions that it can be used with hawthorn, Shenqu, etc., such as Baohe Pills, to treat qi stagnation due to food and abdominal distension and pain. In other words, it can play the role of digestion, stomach strengthening, and appetite promotion. However, the taste of tangerine peel is relatively strong, and the taste of hawthorn is sour. If you drink it directly in water, most people will not find it delicious. At this time, add rock sugar syrup appropriately, which dissolves faster than large pieces of rock sugar and is easy to use. It not only can be used for seasoning, but also nourishes yin and moisturizes the lungs without causing internal heat. Let’s take a look at how to do it next.

The everlasting stir-fried shredded pork with garlic moss〗
At the turn of spring and summer, I like to eat garlic moss very much. I always find it strange that garlic is obviously very spicy, why is garlic moss so delicious? Garlic moss is a good food. The skin of garlic moss contains a lot of vitamins, which can stimulate the intestines, reduce constipation, and effectively prevent hemorrhoids. Garlic moss also has a bactericidal effect and can eliminate many harmful bacteria such as E. coli. It is also a good health product highly recommended by traditional Chinese medicine health experts... However, because garlic is difficult to cook, once it is not fried, the taste will be a bit strange. Shredded pork is actually easy to stir-fry and cooked, but garlic cloves are not easy to cook. It’s a bit of a dilemma if you want to cook it well! However, if you use a clever trick, you can make delicious and lasting fried garlic. The secret is to blanch the garlic sprouts first so that the stir-fried garlic sprouts still taste good.

Appetizer for snacks - fried peanuts (less oil version)
Grandpa is in his seventies this year, and he is an old man (the age of an old man, the mentality of a young man). Grandma is a kind-hearted person with a big heart. No matter what others say, she will never take it seriously. Grandpa, on the other hand, has a fiery temper. He will yell if he disagrees with others, and occasionally he will get angry (actually, it means that the thunder will be loud but the rain will be small, and he will not really take action). Just like this, the old couple started quarreling every now and then at home. The percussion sounds of these two were indispensable in my childhood years. During the Chinese New Year last year, grandma was frying peanuts while preparing cold dishes for the banquet. Grandpa asked her to go do other things. When she came back, she saw that the peanuts were mushy! Grandma didn't dare to say a word, and was caught by grandpa while she was quietly pouring out. When I saw that the situation was not good, I heard the harmonious voices of the two of them before I walked over - these two started again! As soon as grandpa raised his voice, grandma's momentum became weak, and then she would accuse loudly and sob quietly. Who would have thought, I couldn't persuade her like this, and it was useless to say that. The more grandma cried, the more aggrieved she became, with tears and tears, and she accidentally got a bubble from her nose! I was stunned and started laughing. Grandpa didn't hold back and laughed accidentally. Then grandma laughed and cursed, and that was it! Hey, there's really nothing I can do about these two. They get tired of it when they're good, but they fire without paying attention at a glance! Sometimes I think that these two people are quite interesting. Life can't be all about lyrical light music. It's good to have some percussion every now and then.

Stir-fried Sausage and Shredded Cabbage
In my hometown, cabbage is also called cabbage, sometimes also called lotus white. The nutritional value of cabbage is almost the same as that of Chinese cabbage, and the vitamin C content is about twice as high. In addition, cabbage is rich in folic acid, which is an advantage of cabbage vegetables. Therefore, pregnant women and anemia patients should eat more cabbage. Cabbage is also an important beauty product. Cabbage contains a certain ulcer healing factor, which has a good therapeutic effect on ulcers and can accelerate wound healing. It is an effective food for patients with gastric ulcers. Eating more cabbage can also increase appetite, promote digestion and prevent constipation.

Laba porridge
Laba porridge is also called five-flavor porridge, seven-treasure porridge, and eight-treasure porridge. According to legend, this porridge is related to the Buddha Sakyamuni, so it is also called Buddha porridge. It is said that Gautama Buddha visited all the mountains and rivers in India and collapsed from hunger, thirst and fatigue. Fortunately, he met a shepherdess who fed him wild fruits and grains, which made him feel refreshed. He meditated under the bodhi tree and finally attained enlightenment and became a Buddha on December 8. His followers designated this day as the Enlightenment Day, and imitated the shepherdess in making porridge to commemorate it, which was called Laba porridge. The custom of eating Laba porridge in China started after the Eastern Han Dynasty and after Buddhism was introduced to China. It was passed down to the Qing Dynasty that cooking Laba porridge in Yonghe Temple became a grand ceremony and the scene was extremely spectacular. The pot used to cook porridge in Yonghe Temple has a diameter of 2 meters and a depth of 1.5 meters, and can hold 20-30 loads of rice (each load is 60 kilograms). Laba porridge is cooked by more than 10 strong and specially trained cooks. On the morning of the seventh day of the lunar month, the order was given to light the fire and the ingredients were ordered. There were people standing on the three floors around the porridge pot. The three innermost floors are occupied by cooks who make porridge, lamas who chant sutras, and monks who hold sutras. Yu is the eunuch delivering porridge. The porridge is cooked entirely with firewood, and a total of 6 pots are made. The first pot was sent to the Imperial Ancestral Temple, Shouhuang Hall and temples and halls in the Qing Palace and Xiyuan to worship ancestors, gods and Buddhas. The second pot was sent to the emperor and empress, and was given to the concubines, princes, and grandsons. The third pot was given to the prince and temple monks in Kyoto. The fourth pot is given to the civil and military officials and local ministers in Beijing. The fifth pot is a lama holding sutras to Yonghe Lama Temple. The sixth pot was distributed to the common people. The emperor ate porridge very religiously. First, offer the porridge in front of the Buddha with your own hands, hold incense and kneel before worshiping. Only after the incense is gone, can you take it back and eat it. It is said that if you eat the porridge used by the gods and Buddhas, you will be blessed by the gods and Buddhas and have peace all year round. Emperor Daoguang wrote a poem called "Laba Porridge": In the early summer of Yiyang, in Dalu, millet is cooked into porridge and beans. On the occasion of the festival, I offer the Buddha's arrow with my heart in mind, and silently gaze at the golden light to help everyone. The fragrant fragrance floats gently, and the piles of fruits and vegetables gather together. Let’s taste the best products together and reach the wonderful door, and the color of the wonderful door will be passed down from generation to generation. The children celebrated the peace with a full belly and beat drums on the street. However. . . Isn’t the porridge cold now? There is no way to know the ingredients of the porridge that the Buddha ate back then. There are many recipes for Laba porridge, but this one is very common. Even so, there are no water chestnuts or green and red silk found in the house. This porridge must have come from Jiangnan? Fortunately, Laba porridge has many ingredients, so you don’t have to stick to it. Replace the water chestnuts with barley and use wolfberry for green and red ones. The function of these two is nothing more than to add color and increase the appreciation of the porridge. I hesitantly reduced the amount of brown sugar, but then I was thankful that I had to omit the white sugar. If the original recipe was enough, the sweetness would not be what I was willing to tolerate. I’ll just make the original porridge from now on.

cheesecake
Bacon said that knowledge is power, but for us foodies, especially those who are afraid of the cold, it has become - cheese is power~ Whether it is a thick layer of mozzarella on pizza, various cheesecakes or even the sliced cheese in a cheese sandwich, I will be deeply fascinated! Let’s talk about a little knowledge about cheese first. Cheese is divided into several types according to different uses and recipes. The more famous ones are mozzarella cheese, cheddar cheese, mascarpone cheese and cream cheese. Mozzarella has a good drawing effect and is usually placed on pizza. Mascarpone cheese is The raw materials for making the indicated dessert tiramisu cannot be replaced by anything else, and the price is relatively high; cheddar cheese has a unique flavor and I usually use it to spread bread; cream cheese is also called cream cheese, which is relatively light and white and looks good. It is extracted from whipping cream and can be used to make various cheesecakes. Let’s talk about cheesecake - according to the different types of cheese, it is divided into light cheesecake, soufflé cheesecake and heavy cheesecake. Both soufflé cheese and light cheese require beating eggs, but heavy cheesecake is simply mixed and contains less powder, which is closest to the original taste of cheese. Of course, it contains more energy, so it is very suitable for eating in the cold winter! What I’m sharing today is a classic original cheesecake. I hope you all like it!
