Saliva Chicken
Overview
This is my first time learning how to make saliva chicken at home. I have most of the seasoning ingredients at home, so I just mixed the sauce myself! It tastes pretty good!

Steps

Clean and wash half a tender chicken

Put the ginger slices, scallion knots and cooking wine (not mentioned in the ingredients) into the pot and bring to a boil. Cook for another 10 minutes, then turn off the heat and simmer for 20 minutes

Take a basin and add cold water and ice cubes

Put the cooked chicken into ice water

Cut the ginger, garlic, onions and peppers into small pieces and set aside

Start making the sauce: Take a bowl and add peanut butter and sesame paste
-
Add light soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, red oil, chili sauce, tempeh, pepper powder, and sesame oil

Add minced garlic, minced ginger and a ladle of chicken broth

Stir evenly into the sauce

Remove the chicken, drain the water and cut into small pieces

Pour the prepared sauce over the chicken

Sprinkle chopped green onion and diced red pepper on top
-
Heat a little salad oil and pour it over the chopped green onions and diced chilies
-
Finally sprinkle with chopped peanuts
