Glass sugar core flower cookies
This candy center is something I've always wanted to make. I saw someone making it a long time ago, and I was very curious about her glass core. Later, I finally understood that it was crushed fruit candies placed in the middle. The temperature in the oven melted the sugar, and when it cooled down again, it turned into a flower biscuit with a glass heart. This sugar core makes the biscuits cuter and cuter!

Brown sugar ice powder
Ever since I was sensible, I have known about ice powder. In the summer when I was a kid, there weren’t many things to relieve the heat. The stalls at the entrance of the school sell cold water, ice powder, cold shrimps, cold cakes, etc. It only costs a few cents for a bowl to be eaten as you go. There was a mother-in-law who sold ice powder that was very delicious. When I came out from school, I would have a bowl of ice powder, add brown sugar water, and drink it without a spoon, and I would feel cool in my stomach. Of course, the most original ice powder is made from freshly kneaded ice powder seeds. The ice powder seeds are plant seeds called pseudophysalis, which look like small black sesame seeds, but are smaller than sesame seeds. Bring a basin of water, wrap these seeds in a cloth, and then keep rubbing them in the water, and a slippery and transparent mucus will come out. Let the water sit for a while, then use a small amount of gypsum or toothpaste to solidify, and the crystal clear, cool-tasting ice powder will be ready. Now supermarkets also sell finished ice powder. Take it home, dissolve it with water and cool it down before eating. You won’t taste the toothpaste anymore. In summer, the cool and transparent ice powder is eaten with brown sugar or various fresh fruits. It’s really refreshing~
